The Distressed Worker
Last night I was flipping channels, back and forth between the usual "guy talk and drama" channels of ESPN, Golf Channel, some movie channels, when I happened on WGVU the local public station and Bill Moyer's program.

His description of the "Distressed Worker" encapsulated my whole existence for the past 9 years and the existence of many of the characters in my songs. As I've said since 2002 or so, I write songs about conflict and the choices people make during times of stress.
I have a new direction and focus today. $700 Billion bailout indeed. More later.
