    I love this. Period.

    Pure genious. Period.

    Simply Remarkable.

A nice swing to this one, good chord work, love the whisk accents. The octaved theme doesn't stir me personally but it's fine for a quiet swing. I don't think any of the crap mikes I use could catch the whisk/grater transients.

Meow! Love the opening chords and the octaves. So much attitude; just the right amount of gentle and strong. I also like the melody note you chose for the second to the last chord. Made me want to strip....

It's been really cool to hear your jazz side evolving.  You've hit on a unique sound.  The timbre of your guitar gives everything a certain folk-rock quality, while the chords and swing are just the right amount of jazzy.  Tasteful cheese-grater and whisk accents here.  No, seriously.  This has inspired me to add a cheese grater to my live performances.

this is great fun!  i love the live, exciting vibe to the whole thing - there's a lot of depth to the sound.  also very bare-bones - i love it when people leave spaces in music.  not to be all un-PC, but this almost has a gypsy feeling to it, for me.  :)

    Opposite of country mile?

Very Wes Montgomery, them octaves. Will you come play guitar at my house so I can play bass on some of this jazz stuff? I feel cooler, just listening to it. Not like you need help. I just wanna play too.

I was so afraid you were really done somewhere back there. Fills my heart wi' joy to see more stuff posted by yer name, boyo.
