Chord progression so I remember it later...
C-F-C-G-C
(Now that I've written it down, how could I forget?)
Some folks think that February only has one holiday... the 14th when we all buy flowers and chocolates for that special someone. I agree that that day's fun but there's another day too and this day has much more mathematical significance because it's exactly half way between winter and spring.
So I say
Happy Ground Hog
Happy Ground Hog
Happy Ground Hog Day
Happy Ground Hog
Happy Ground Hog
Happy Ground Hog Day
Ground Hog Day has a special meaning to the people of Punxatawney Pennsylvania because that's the one day when our entire nation seeks advice from their squinting pudgy rodent. I have friends who moved from Minnesota to buy a bar in St John Virgin Islands and they keep trying to tell me that they're living in paradise but I know something different, you see I've come to appreciate living in Michigan where we have a real change in seasons and the smell of the summer smells so much better after six months in snow freezing your buns off.
So I say
Happy Ground Hog
Happy Ground Hog
Happy Ground Hog Day
Happy Ground Hog
Happy Ground Hog
Happy Ground Hog Day
(everybody now...)
