In December 2009 during my West Coast tour I was interviewed by Jon Kanis of State Controlled Radio in San Diego CA. I met John in 2006 at Steel Bridge Songfest and we struck up a mutual admiration society and friendship that I've cherished ever since. We played a great show in San Diego together with Mike Keneally of "DethClok" fame, and Jon asked me to give him as many of my recordings as I could find so he could piece together a radio show. The job he's done is amazing.

In any case, here is part one. Jon had a bunch of recordings that even I didn't have that he culled from some lost Steel Bridge Songfest sessions. Below is a set list of the songs that were included, but the conversation was the part that really cranked me up. Jon is such a well-spoken and insightful guy, it was great to speak with him and hear the final result edited down and interspersed with songs.
